Important Notice For Year 8 Options
As a result of the closure of schools due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Trust has taken the decision to extend Key Stage 3 for Year 8 students into Year 9 from September 2020. This means that Year 8 students will now not be required to choose subjects in the option process until the following year. This decision gives students some additional time in Year 9 to decide which subjects they would like to take at GCSE.
In line with the Government directive the Academy will be closed from Monday 23 March 2020.
Parents whose work is critical to the Covid-19 response (click here to view the DfE list of key workers and government advice) can be supported at the Academy if your child cannot be safely cared for at home.
If you need to access this provision please text using the MyEd app, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01507 353 459 to confirm if your child will be attending the Academy.
Advice for Key Workers whose children need to attend the Academy:
- Please ensure you have informed the Academy your child will be attending, via the app/text message or telephone.
- Students must attend in their full Academy uniform.
- The Academy will operate the usual Academy opening hours.
- All procedures relating to students will operate as normal.
