Site Improvements

Tollbar MAT has invested heavily to improve the site to benefit the students at the Academy. The total investment to date is over £500,000 with more projects to come this year. The investment has transformed the campus with new and refurbished classrooms now in operation together with a vast array of new resources and equipment as well as general site improvements to improve the safety, security and appearance of the new Academy.

Further investment to come this year will create new sports facilities to include new changing rooms and a multi-gym. More ICT facilities are planned together with new Science labs and other new classrooms as well as more improvements to the site including some window replacement.

The Academy has benefitted from extensive investment on the site to improve the appearance and functionality of the grounds and buildings. This has included block paving and improved pedestrian access, road signage, signage around the Academy, improved corridors and stairwells, new reception and meeting room for parents, a student entrance, some refurbishment of toilet facilities and a remodelled kitchen with new ovens and other equipment. Virtually the whole site has been redecorated including corridors, stairwells as well as classrooms.

Tollbar MAT also has a dedicated maintenance team to ensure the site is kept in a top condition.
