Teams from Somercotes and Louth Academies, who played each other in a game of handball. Both academies are now members of Tollbar Multi Academy Trust.
Students from Somercotes Academy took on their counterparts from Louth Academy in a competitive game of handball, which was played at a high standard.
This was one of the first occasions for the two academies, which are both now members of Tollbar Multi Academy Trust, to share resources and gain greater experience of the sport by playing each other. The game also allowed the Year 10 and 11 students to gain a practical grade for their Sport qualification.
Rachel Elson, P.E. Teacher at Somercotes Academy said: "The game was played at a high standard, considering a lot of the boys had only been playing a couple of weeks. Somercotes Academy won the match, but all of the students who took part in the game represented the Academies brilliantly."
